CLAYATHON!

balloon pot

I just returned from a four day intensive polymer clay workshop. I have been reenergized with inspiration, new techniques, new types of clay and uninterupted time to create. My dear friends and fellow artists attended as well as new creatives. Two women made the trek from Canada! There was a free exchange of ideas. The artists are welcoming to new comers and the

returning clayers. It is a gem. It takes place every February. I will keep you posted for Clayathon 2017.

The guest artist was Laura Tabakman.

She opened my flow of creativity by

showing me how to use balloons! I

love the organic forms that I can get

from using a balloon. No two shapes

will ever be the same. I like the fact

that when you aquire a piece, it will be a unique, one of a kind that is

designed for just the right person.
